The Mission of the Court Reporters Certification Board is to certify, to the Supreme Court of Texas, qualified court reporters to meet the growing needs and expectations of the public through statewide certification and accountability.
Fingerprinting:

New laws were established that requires court reporters to provide the CRCB with
his or her Texas and national criminal history records by having his or her
fingerprints submitted to the TX Department of Public Safety (DPS). For
information on procedures for newly certified individuals to submit their
fingerprints, please refer to the CSR Exam Information page of our website. For
information on procedures for renewing court reporters to submit their
fingerprints, please refer to the 'News' section on the Renewals page of our website. Additionally,
